The very memorable 5months of my life in year '88

   Year 1988 was a turning point in my life. The reason why I say this is because, frm June first till end of October ,the 5 months were the peak moments in my life. For the first time I was away frm all my siblings n family members to  complete my 5 month of full time study in Seremban Raja Melewar Teacher Training College.My salary was only 240 ringgit, half salary, because half government deduct to pay our fee.After deduction, computer class fee 80  ringgit which non of the girls attended only the boys attended, because our house was v faraway frm college n no transportation for us to pursue our night class. So the 80 ringgit was burnt monthly. Only 160 left after deduction, house rental and food , food n our expenses all covered in that 160 ringgit.My first month as as a  full time trainee, hubby called me n to old my e to send 100 ringgit to my father in-law, I did so as how I was no instructed. I survived two weeks with only 60  ringgit. After two weeks, I called my hubby n told him I hv nothing to support me to survive , to get food, hubby  bankin me 40 ringgit, n that 40 ringgit helped me to survive for two more weeks untill I get my next allowance.. Life can be really threating n challenging in the absence of parents, or loved ones
No one supported or helped me so my needs were limited, shopping n no unnecessary expences . My breakfast was only nestum n brunch was cream craker n lime juice. 50 cents of limes perweek just nice for my consumption of one week. Dinner n lunch two girls shared, one lunch box n same with dinner. Though all the girls visit town on Saturday or Friday evening, I hardly go out with them or do shopping, how you to shopping, when no money to spend.. those were the best lessons in my life about spending money n frm what we have to spend..
